Awareness plans for 2015: It's going to be big

We have a new year's resolution for 2015: raise awareness on a national scale.

We want to be the topic of discussion on national news shows, such as "The Today Show," or "Ellen." Our focus is not only to raise awareness of CdLS, but also to highlight the unwavering efforts of parents and caregivers of individuals with special needs. With your help, we believe this is possible.

We want you all to get involved, by submitting your home videos, photos and stories about special moments you've had with your child with CdLS. Maybe it's his/her first smile, or steps. Maybe it's just a funny interaction you've had. Whatever it may be, we want to combine all of your wonderful stories, to create an online "portfolio," that we can submit to various news outlets. Combined, your stories will have a great impact.

With the help of two wonderful parent volunteers, Tasha and Scott, already leading the charge, we're already on our way to successful outreach, nationwide.

Send any short video clips, photos and short stories to to participate and together, we'll draw attention to CdLS on a large scale.
