CdLS Foundation Earns 4-Star Rating on Charity Navigator

The Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation was awarded a coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for sound fiscal management and a proven commitment to accountability and transparency.

In this competitive philanthropic marketplace, Charity Navigator highlights the fine work of efficient, ethical, and open charities. As America's premier charity evaluator, Charity Navigator is the gold standard in providing donors with essential information needed to give them greater confidence in the charitable choices they make.

Kelly Brown, Acting Executive Director of the CdLS Foundation stated, "We are proud to be given this important distinction. It's a recognition of our board and staff's hard work in the pursuit to make our organization both efficient and transparent as donors become increasingly concerned with how well their dollars are allocated."

The highest possible rating by Charity Navigator illustrates the Foundation's commitment to strong governance and highlights how we pursue our mission in a fiscally responsible way. Only one-quarter of evaluated charities receive this distinction.

Brown continued, "We hope that our practices will draw attention to the incredible work we do at the CdLS Foundation on behalf of the families we serve around the country, who rely on us, often in their most trying times."
